Background Story
After the fall of Muromachi Shogunate, everyone, from the lords to the common people, struggled to survive. The Sanada family was also having a hard time to survive in the chaotic Sengoku Era.
Growing in a famed family, Yukimura liked adventure and traveled through the chaotic world. He valued the samurai spirit and believed that he could face any challenges without fear.
At the battle of Sekigahara, he held the Ueda Castle and fended off the army of Hidetada Tokugawa. During the Battle of Osaka Winter, he built a fortification called "Sanada-maru" at the Tamatsukuri gate of the Osaka Castle and repelled the enemy.
His outstanding performance in the Battle of Osaka, where he was outnumbered by the enemy but won in the end, made him a legendary figure who even made the powerful Ieyasu Tokugawa frown on hearing his name.
